Who We Are

Our goal is to provide you with the best design visualization possible. For years architectural & design customers were forced to visualize their homes using 2D prints of floor plans and elevations, trusting that the design incorporated the elements they desired.

Eventually 3D modeling and rendering entered the market.  You could get a few staged views that were an upgrade from a flat 2D image. However, viewing the mockups on computer screens still leave a lot to your imagination.  For instance, you still couldn’t gauge the dimensions of your design.

With virtual reality becoming more popular and affordable, it created the opportunity for us to “build” your project digitally, before you build it permanently. We can provide you with the opportunity to visualize, feel, and walk through your project, true to scale, so you can see what it will actually be like.

From a full custom home build to a minor interior design job, lenzVR was created for everyone and anyone in the architectural & design community.  This is what sets us apart.  It’s easy to use, unlike what’s currently out in the marketplace.  The renderings are also quick, and often done in seconds.

Our goal is to take the surprise element out of the construction process and give you peace of mind, knowing that your project is exactly what you wanted when you had it designed.  This can save time, money, and prevent wasted materials and re-builds.

Brian Business Picture2

Brian Carrick started in the home design industry 20 years ago as a draftsman at JCD Custom Home Design, a prestigious and award-winning firm.  He gained the skill and ability to become a designer over the years. Eventually he became the lead designer for the firm.

Wanting to pursue higher education, Brian started studying Electrical Engineering at Utah State University. After six years of intense study and hard work, he graduated with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in digital signal processing and communication systems. He formed lenzVR due to a struggle he experienced:  with typical 2D and even 3D floor plans, it was still difficult for his customers to visualize their design.

With the advancement of virtual reality (VR) and it becoming more affordable, he immediately saw the potential for VR to revolutionize the architecture and design process. After years of dealing with home design customers he realized there were many who could not truly see what they were having him design, and it was difficult for him to visualize some of the more complex designs as well. With that in mind he wanted to take VR and apply it to the architecture and design process. Using his programming experience, Brian began writing software that would bridge the gap between CAD and VR.
